VMworld Europe is coming up soon (February 24-26, 2009) and is once again being held in Cannes, France. The team has just issued a call for papers, deadline January 16th, so if you’re interested in participating don’t hesitate too long to submit.

Speaking of VMworld Europe, make sure to check out a company called StorMagic at Booth #59. They recently release their SvSAN which is a Storage Virtual Appliance allowing users to turn their ESX servers into Shared Storage. Pretty slick actually! Also, word is that they’re giving their SvSAN away for FREE at VMworld and my understanding is that this won’t have a time expiration on it. They currently support VMware only but I understand Citrix and Hyper V are soon to follow..
