Gluster Hires John Kreisa As Its New VP Of Marketing


Gluster, provider of scale-out, open source storage solutions for private and public clouds, last week announced John Kreisa as the company’s new vice president of marketing.

Kreisa brings more than 20 years of experience in building and leading teams in high-growth organizations like Cloudera, MarkLogic and Business Objects.

At Cloudera, provider of Hadoop-based software and services, he was vice president of marketing. During his time there, Kreisa managed all corporate marketing activity including communications, social media and product marketing.

Prior to joining Cloudera, Kreisa worked at MarkLogic, an XML database provider, as director of product marketing and directory of industry solutions.

He earned his bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Texas, Austin.
