Release: OpenNebula 2.2


The OpenNebula Project announced today the general availability of OpenNebula 2.2 for download. OpenNebula is open-source reference technology used to deploy infrastructure clouds.

OpenNebula 2.2 is the seventh major release of the project.

“With OpenNebula 2.2 we continue to make OpenNebula the open-source choice to deploy an Infrastructure Cloud”, said Ignacio M. Llorente, Project Director at “We are adding new features to strength the production-ready nature of OpenNebula, making it the most proven, powerful an interoperable technology in the cloud arena”.

OpenNebula 2.2 extends the fault-tolerance features of the toolkit and includes out-of-the-box integration with data-center’s monitoring systems.
